Sunday, October 28, 2018 | Pop-Up Apothecary & Wellness Workshop @ The Hive on Central
This Halloween season, skip the candy aisle and "Treat Yo' Self" to some herbal goodies instead at an all-inclusive workshop at The Hive on Central Avenue just minutes away from campus and downtown Knoxville.
Grab your friends for a fun-filled, hands-on experience where you will create your very own custom "Herbal Apothecary & Wellness Kit" of over 30+ organic herbs, botanicals, organic beauty & skincare essentials + fact sheets on each item with DIY inspiration for you to formulate your own herbal remedies and skincare at home. All materials and samples provided.
This event is a fundraiser hosted by the Herbalists Without Borders Chapter of Central Appalachia in conjunction with Antēbel, a Knoxville-based travelling apothecary & tea shop launching their first of many wellness-themed events in Knoxville this fall/winter.
How it Works:
There will be a total of 8 stations, each with its own unique self-care theme. Instruction at each station provided. Fact sheets, recipes & sample formulas will be at each station as well. ** Bonus** You will also receive a guide containing DIY recipes for making herbal salves, tinctures and natural remedies at home!
• Be sure to check out the pop-up apothecary shop where you can purchase additional products, natural supplies & DIY essentials such as glass dropper bottles, pipettes, kraft bags and much more!
• Complimentary refreshments provided. Sip on organic herbal-infused iced teas and cocktails (for those 21+).
Time and Location:
There will be three 45 minute sessions taking place Sunday, October 28th. between the hours of 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at The Hive - just north of downtown Knoxville. Parking available across the street from the venue or at The Glowing Body yoga studio nearby.
Day of Event:

All proceeds from the workshop benefit a grassroots project called "Roaming Remedy", a special collaboration between new, Knoxville-based apothecary, Antebel and Herbalists Without Borders.
